There’s excitement over our New Dual-Laser Machine
We’re excited at Bolt Laserworks! We’ve just taken delivery of the latest addition to our laser machine fleet. Like our existing workhorse lasers, this new dual-laser system comes from AP Lazer, known for rugged design and their patented open-architecture platform. The open architecture is a unique design that allows us to etch and cut large or awkwardly shaped pieces—everything from oversized bar mirrors and signage to doors, barrels, and monuments, including our signature etched-photo process.

Dual-Laser Power: CO₂ + MOPA Fiber
This new system features dual-laser technology, combining the versatility of a traditional CO₂ laser with the precision of a MOPA fiber laser in a single machine. While fiber technology itself isn’t new, having both systems built into one large-format unit opens new creative and production possibilities.
The CO₂ laser continues to excel at engraving organic materials like wood, glass, stone, and acrylic, while the fiber laser introduces direct metal etching. That means we can now mark and engrave stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and other metals without using special marking agents or sprays, and on large items.
Higher Resolution, Stunning Results
Beyond new material options, the fiber system also operates at much higher resolution. This will enhance our fine detail quality—especially on materials such as granite, marble, glass, and now metal. Whether it’s a cherished photo memorial, a corporate award, or a detailed design, the results will be sharper, deeper, and even more beautiful than before.

What This Means for Our Customers
For our customers, the
new dual-laser machine means:
Even more material options for custom projects
Higher detail and clarity in photo and fine graphic etching
Faster turnaround times with production capacity expanded by 33%
Enhanced versatility, from fine jewelry and awards to large memorials, mirrors and signage
At Bolt Laserworks, every investment we make is aimed at giving our customers the best possible craftsmanship and service. This new machine represents our ongoing commitment to quality, creativity, and innovation.
